Blackjack Trainer

Practice blackjack basic strategy against a pixel-art table. Every decision is graded against the strategy chart, with a short explanation of the correct play, a scorecard, and a log of recent mistakes. A pullout chart outlines your last decision, and optional hints show the correct move before you commit.

Settings cover surrender, insurance and the blackjack payout, 3:2 or 6:5, and the chart, hints and grading all follow them. The table deals from six decks, the dealer stands on soft 17, and doubling after a split is allowed. Everything is keyboard-driven, progress is saved in the browser, and it installs as a web app that works offline.

Built with Solid, TypeScript and Vite. The game itself is plain TypeScript with no framework code, covering cards, strategy, grading and round flow, with a separate layer wiring it to Solid.

The look is inspired by Balatro. Card art is Pixel Plebes by Devlyn JD; the pixel font is Jersey 10.

Runs in any modern browser and installs as a web app that works offline. Progress is saved locally.
